Injection mould is a tool for producing plastic products, and it is also a tool for giving plastic products complete structure and precise size. Injection moulding is a processing method used in mass production of some complex parts. Specifically, melted plastics are injected into the cavity by high-pressure injection moulding machine. After cooling and solidification, the formed products are obtained.

Basic classification of injection moulds:

Injection moulds can be divided into thermosetting plastic moulds and thermoplastic plastic moulds according to their moulding characteristics; injection moulds can be divided into transfer moulds, blow moulds, casting moulds, thermoforming moulds, hot pressing moulds (compression moulds), injection moulds and so on according to their moulding process. Hot pressing moulds can be divided into overflow moulds, semi-overflow moulds and non-overflow moulds. The gating system can be divided into cold runner die and hot runner die. According to the loading and unloading mode, it can be divided into movable and fixed.
